Re: Does anyone know the winners of the 2010 Connecticut/Hartford Regionals?

The easiest way to find the information you seek is to go to the FIRST Website, choose Regional events, select the Northeast Utilities CT Regional, then select the Awards:
http://www2.usfirst.org/2010comp/events/CT/awards.html

The regional winners were:
1124, 383, and 102.

1124 had a simple design, no ball magnet, no kicker, no hanging, but an outstanding drive system that was quick and agile and could push balls into the goals.

383, who just missed winning the Boston regional was effective in scoring from midfield and sending balls into the offensive zone, where 1124 could then score them. They could also hang with a "wheel crawler".

102 was a good defender.

They beat 1501, one of the more interesting and effective designs for scoring. 230, an effective and aggressive scorer and hanger that could routinely score from midfield and almost consistently hang at the end. 61 was the third alliance member and they acquitted themselves well.

A great regional that showed how the game this year has finally emerged as a very exciting competition.
