I wish we had 5!

We set our record at 3 balls out of 5 in one of our qualification matches. It is amazing at how 1/4 inch difference in where items sit in relationship to our ball magnet and kicker can cause our kicker to mess up to the extreme. In the eliminations our active shepherding mechanisms shifted and balls could not sit properly on the vacuum so when we stopped to kick they would roll away.
Our autonomous can kick 5 balls consistently and scores on average 1-2 balls and gets the rest in the near zone to score and give us ball dominance depending on how well the opposing alliance did in getting balls out. Ball dominence is key in matches. At GSR and NCR in the finals when we did not clear balls out of the far zone we lost. At GSR our kicker jammed and kicking had to sit out until the next match and we won after getting all 3 balls in our near zone. At NCR we got 1-2 out in most elimination matches, but in the finals we usually had 2 or 3 that didn't make it out and cost us the match. If we had all 3 of those balls in the near zone for 1772 to score, it could have pulled off a second win, but the number 1 seed was too much.
