Merely transferring the BOM to the inspector station computer makes reasonable verification of the BOM difficult. Clearly, inspectors cannot afford to do a thorough item-by-item check of every BOM. However, a spot-check of a few obvious (and/or random not-so-obvious) components can be done very quickly if the BOM is visible at the time of inspection.

I completely agree with you. Printing a BoM (In addition to having it on the USB drive) would make inspection that much easier. However, your previous post stated a printed Bom
OR electronic form.
The only reason I brought it up was because the REQUIREMENT is a BoM, In FIRSTs template form, on a USB stick. Teams must have this, and a print only copy isn't acceptable. Printing one
in addition to the electronic form is fine ... and probably preferable.
