Re: Congratulations Team 341, Miss Daisy, on the 2010 Chairman's Award

Thank you, all, for your kind words! The reality of what happened this weekend is still sinking in, and I don't think that we will fully grasp the gravity of it all for some time. We look forward to the new challenge of being a Hall of Fame team - to the new opportunities it will give us, and to the challenge of being an ambassador for all of FIRST.

There are so many people we need to thank. First and foremost, although the 2010 incarnation of Miss Daisy was the one that got to sit behind Dean, Woody, John, and Paul, this award belongs to every student, mentor, and parent who has ever been a part of our team. We were not sitting on bleachers; we truly were "standing on the shoulders of giants".

Likewise, this award belongs to all of the awesome teams and individuals that have mentored us over the years. We would not be the team we are today without the constant support of teams like 103, 272, and 365 and individuals like Dave and Cathy Beck, Frank Larkin, and John Larock.

This award also belongs to all of the awesome teams that have let us help to mentor them! Your achievements are extraordinary, and your successes constantly inspire us to continue to mentor others year after year.

This award belongs to the entire Philadelphia/Mid-Atlantic Region! Thanks to the unwavering support from our Regional Directors Carol Kaufmann and soon Don Bauer, and from our senior mentors Rich Kressly and Nathan Knauss. We are proud to bring the clock back to Philadelphia!
