It's good to see you posting again, and this post is nothing short of amazing!! Congratulate the entire team at NASA for us.
One simple observation I have.
With all of NASA'S experience and expertise in building Robots, I find it fascinating that R2 is so human in it's appearance and physical function. It causes me to ask a simple question: Is R2's physical layout and design so similar to the human form because the human form is the best or most optimal design for this application, or is it simply because we are so familiar with this form that it easier to relate to it's operation?
