I think that the neatest thing I've ever gotten was a small doll pin that I received from a Chilean team in 2008. It's very nicely made, and I would not be surprised if it was made by a student.

Teams that give out lanyards are pretty awesome in my book, but there aren't a lot of them. 217's lanyards are really nice. I don't want to even think about how much it would cost to get them, though D: I also really like whatever bandannas I can pick up at competitions, but there aren't a lot of teams who give those out because of the high cost (like us). Gel bracelets (there's probably a more proper name for them, but I don't know it - think Livestrong bracelets) are nice too.

Not to mention all of the really cool pins that almost all teams give out. As simple as they are, those little pieces of metal and paper are cool in large quantities, are easy to wear/display, and they're so much fun to collect.
