I would suspect that IFI has had a contract with the convention center since before FIRST announced its dates and FIRST has had a contract with the event center in St. Louis since before IFI announced its dates. At least FIRST is announcing its dates for the next 3 years now rather than waiting till next year, so maybe this can avoid some future conflict...
