The Mentor Match Tournament is back again for the 2010 IRI.

IRI MENTOR MATCH Competition
When: Saturday, July 17th, 2010 – Between Alliance Selection and Finals
Begins at 12:30, ends at 1:30
Where: At the IRI
Cost: $100 donation to the IRI Charity Auction funds
Overview:
Eighteen (18) teams will compete in a modified elimination tournament playing the 2010 FIRST game with their team’s competition robot. Each team will play at least two matches, more depending on how they play. Each team consists of three mentors (high school graduated on or before June 2009), and one student coach (high school graduated after June 2009). Six (6) alliances will be created by an auction bidding process (highest bidder gets #1 seed, etc.). Each alliance will consist of three teams.
Registration Info:
Registration opens on June 17, 2010 and closes on July 2, 2010. If more than 18 teams apply, there will be a blind drawing to determine which teams will play. The final team list will be announced by July 5, 2010. Registration fee will be paid at the IRI, with Checks made payable to: “Perry Meridian High School / MENTOR Competition”
