I don't have any inside knowledge at this point, but I can pretty much guarantee there will be a Minnesota Kickoff. The question is not whether or not there will be one, but how many and what will the capacity of each be.
Mark Lawrence is likely hard at work figuring out which University of Minnesota facilities are available and what the capacity of the event there will be. There may also be an additional kickoff event somewhere in order to support the rapidly growing number of Minnesota teams.
