For what it's worth... an undergraduate degree in bio or biomedical engineering would write your ticket into medical school. I understand that right now. it is the best way to get into medical school.
Especially if you are interested in one of the big medical schools.
From an old bio/chem major... who moved into engineering...
I wish I had taken this route. Frankly, most of the undergraduate level bio courses are not all that great.... They are huge... and many are a rehash of what you got in a good high school program.
You will get PLENTY of biological stuff in your first year of medical school. (More like 2 years worth in one year....)
i just urge you to look at biomedical engineering...
Its also a great fall back in case medical school doesn't happen..for whatever reason..
