It's also unfortunately illegal due to this year's design rules that prohibit articulating your robot's bumpers, since in one of the two configurations the robot would be out of the bumper zone.
I was particularly interested in seeing a robot that implemented some kind of "Simswerve" type system like 1114 used in 2004, but the articulating bumper restrictions also made that at least look illegal.
I'm pretty sure someone on the team suggested we try building a robot that sits under the tower and just bounces balls from the return toward the goals, but people didn't think that design would go anywhere...
