Re: [OCCRA]: spikes and cortex

Question: Our team is trying to connect two spike relays to control pneumatic valving. we are unsure as to where to connect the spikes on the cortex and are unable to find documents that direct us. Where do the spikes connect on the cortex? It is our intent to use the secondary joystick for control.

Answer:

I do know you will not use the Motor port.....

I think you plug the PWM into the analog port as you would a simple limit switch (you will need to adjust your software in EasyC 4. All other power connections for the valve wires (red/Black) are the same - refer to the pneumatics manual.

I will contact IFI tonight and double check this answer and re-post as soon as I get an answer.


Read the post in the Q & A section as another team has an answer.... however I cannot verify the answer to be accurate.
