1. Our team captain has never been garunteed a position on drive team although many captains have tryed out and obtained the position based on their drive skills or ability to communicate with other teams

2. Our team changed the structure of leadership this year and we now have 2 captains. The team captains help run meetings and can answer many basic questions so the coach is not overloaded. We are the role models of the team and help where ever and whenever needed.

3. We are also changing driver tryouts this year. For the last few years we have tested different ways of choosing drivers and this year is no different we are still in the brainstorming stage of the process.

4. Our captains help where ever needed and step in for certain problems that can be solved before being brought to the attention of our coach or assistant coach. We help keep everyone on task. We also help teach many rookies what FIRST is about and other basics.
