Has it ever worked wirelessly since your robot was running on a competition field at a regional event? Remember that the WGA on the robot had its wireless security activated at the regional, giving it a specific security code. If your router doesn't have the same security set up, the wireless connection will fail. Most teams are never given the WPA password, so setting the router to match is not an option.
The solution is simply to disable security on the WGA. Connect a cable from it directly to the router, use a web browser to log in to its configuration page at
http://10.18.65.1/ (those middle two octets are specific to your team), and set the security to
none.
