College Team Information?

Hello, my name is Nick Iannone, and I'm a former FIRST student (and national semifinalist during Lunacy!). I'm currently a Software Engineering student at Milwaukee School of Engineering. I've heard rumors milling around that FIRST is opening a college-level competition this year, and I (along with about 30 other people I've met here) would love to get MSOE involved with a team. The problem is, I haven't been able to track down any official information about starting a college team, and with the end of the year (and kickoff!) approaching very rapidly, I don't have much time to figure everything out. Is there anywhere that I could look for official information on the procedure for establishing a FIRST College team, and what is required, so I can work with our advisor to get everything up and running?

Thanks, and keep up the coopertition!
