The funny thing is that with digital video, the connector quality doesn't really matter so much. If it works, it works. Signal degradation is a thing of the past.

Since hardly anyone understands this stuff, it's easy to sell overpriced cables.
I've noticed this with a lot of things best buy sells. I like best buy and all but they are kinda pricy. I ended up buying a 2 in one pack for $40 with a 9ft cable and a 3ft cable. My brother needed one any way so $20 I figured wasn't to bad for a cable at best buy.
