Just finished reading the available excerpt of "The New Cool"! It seems to really capture the essence of FIRST. The kids with the crazy dyed hair and the kids carrying around the obnoxious banners, the enormous amount of team spirit....these are what robotics competitions are all about! And Neal Bascomb really captures that in the introduction.
I can't wait to buy this book when it comes out in March! I'll definitely pass on the book information to my friends and teammates!
