A good minibot doesn't have to cost anywhere near $500. The controller is a significant part of that kit's price. A
great minibot just has to be fast and reliable, with no need to be smart.

Those batteries were listed as never used, but not new. I wouldn't have wanted to need to rely on them during a competition match.
