The code you show is from last year. The 2011 game code doesn't actually use the camera to track the lines. Also, the NI web site
http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-8923 has documents in the More section at the lower right of the page which discuss different SW aspects concerning line tracking a retro-reflective markers.
