well it's probably too late now, but as a note for regionals...
I would think it'd depend on what the piston is doing and how much force is acting on it. if the mount doesnt need to be very strong or straight, then just hose clamp the thing on. otherwise, I'd take a block of wood, delrin, etc. and drill a hole the size of the pvc and a hole the size of the piston with about 1/2 inch between them. then you cut both holes in half, and screw that into the pvc and hose clamp the piston against the pvc, so it rests in that mounting. you'll probably need two of these things to get it straight, but it's fairly simple to do.

our team used two piece of lexan to hold all of pnumatics on to are arm and it works good
