Posting Description: The Gateway Faculty/Academic Specialist will teach freshman engineering courses focused on engineering design and problem solving. Advise, mentor and coordinate special student organization projects, such as FIRST robotics competition and Mini-Baja all-terrain vehicle. Minimum requirements include MS in engineering field, demonstrated competence in Autocad, C++ language, Excel and MATLAB, ability to work well with high school and college students. Experience in managing and supervising engineering laboratories (including machine shops) and student projects is desirable. Industry experience a plus.
