Remember that thread? [10-28-04]

Hi Everyone :-).

This week's "Remember that thread?" spotlight continues the series of discussions happened very shortly before Nationals of the 99' season. There was a serious concern that there might not be enough qualifying rounds at Nationals, the purposed schedule only allowed for 4 to 5 matches for all 200 teams competing at the event.

The result of the concern led to a very interesting discussion of how Nationals worked back then, and eventually to FIRST's solution to the problem.

In this week's spotlight we will focus in the beginning of the intense debates regarding FIRST's rule change in the middle of 99' season, and ultimately whether or not Alliance is a good thing to FIRST. I present the 1st part of FIRST's solution to the problem: The Introduction of the 3rd Alliance Partner beginning at Great Lakes Regional.

Enjoy.

It must've been a different Brandon Martus, because I would never use the letter 'u' in place of the word 'you'.
