Gear Data
I will try to answer a few questions:
1) The pressure angle of the 16 tooth part of the cluster gear is 20°. 2) We just bought the motor and gearbox from Anderson and they spin the cluster gear right on a steel shaft. The gear has some brass content (copper, etc) and is a pretty good bearing. We are rotating the gear directly on a hardened 1/4" shaft. The shaft should have a slight press fit into one end of your housing or you can put a clip ring on the end. Attached is our 3-D representation of how we are attaching it. Hope this helps |
