Go to Post It shows more than anything, that there are students out there that want to learn, to do better, to improve their own lives and those around them. Thankfully, FIRST is there to help them realize some of their goals. - Al Skierkiewicz [more]

rookies winning regionals

The first question in this thread is for veteran firsters. In the past have rookie teams been able to win regionals. I think that we(1218) were mainly able to win a regional and have such success because of the simplicity of this game. A good pusher and strategy was enough. Has the game worked this well in favor of rookies in the past?

Second, Which other rookies won regionals? I am just curious.

I know last year was the first year I was really like, "Wow... there are some darn good rookies"

This year, the trend continues... and I also know now what it's like to be on one of them
