OK, so if any team that has never gone to a championship is always the highest tier, how could this new system possibly work??
If FIRST grows as they want it to: 1) it won't be long before there are over a thousand teams that have never gone and are all fighting for less than 50 spots 2) the number of regionals will continue to go up and if they take 6 teams from each regional, there will not be many spots left for the tiered teams anyway!
