I remember

Ed Sparks and his most helpful CAD LIBRARY which he still maintains it seems !!!

Anton and the rest of the ninnys!!

I can't say that I remember the others, but the screen name Torchin does sound familiar!

I do remember when Chiefdelphi.com forced you to use your real name as your screen name, that's why mine is like that.

I wish we would return to that format if it isn't too late
(Hint Hint Brandon)

It's a lot easier to remember peoples names than screen names sometimes. Or Avitars for that matter, that's why at the 2002 webhug, I duct taped a Shaggy doll (from scoobby doo - see my avitar) to my chest.

The register form does encourage people to use their real name. not much i can do about it.

If anybody would like to change their username to their real name, please send me a PM. I can change it quickly. I agree -- I would like to see more people use their real names, even just first names if they dont want their whole name on the Internet.

Ed is still around, and hops on here once in a while... probably moreso after kickoff.

Joe Balint was on 2 different FIRST teams, but now he is helping his brother run a landscaping business in Memphis, I believe. He was on teams in Columbu, Ohio and then started a new team (537?) in Milwaukee before heading to Memphis.

I think Ed is on here minimal time on the off season, but I do see Mr. Sparks on every once in awhile

I miss Anton and the ninny's.

I was looking and I didn't see 419 registered for anything this year. Anybody know more about the fate of the rambots?

Who can forget a team that would come up with "Will strip for alliance partner."

Torchin and Matt Sorgenfrei both graduated this past June. Torchin is at UC Santa Barbara and Matt went off to Cal Poly. They've stopped by our shop a couple of times each since they've graduated, but I haven't heard of plans from either of them about joining or starting teams off by their schools. Then again you never know...

Maybe Torchin is going to make a huge comback with that FIRSTcommunity (aka virtual match-maker) he was raving about earlier this year... then agian, hopefully he won't
