Thumbs up Competition at UTC New England

After a little research, the New England regional promises to be extremely competitive. Here's what I've found of the robots that have already competed this year: (excuse my method for determining finishing place - it may not be completely accurate)

Team 88 - NJ - seed 23 - 3rd place
Team 95 - NJ - seed 5 - 7th place
Team 97 - IL - seed 39
Team 103 - NJ - seed 7 - 8th place
Team 121 - NY - seed 5 - 8th place
Team 125 - LI - seed 39
Team 145 - PA - seed 8 - 3rd place
Team 157 - LI - seed 9 - 4th place
157 - PA - seed 1 - 1st place
Team 173 - LI - seed 25 - 1st place
Team 175 - NJ - seed 6 - 4th place
Team 176 - NJ - seed 27 - 7th place
Team 181 - LI - seed 34
Team 195 - LI - seed 23 - 2nd place
Team 230 - LI - seed 22
Team 237 - NY - seed 3 - 1st place
Team 271 - LI - seed 13 - 4th place
Team 287 - LI - seed 29
Team 293 - NJ - seed 8 - 3rd place
Team 348 - NY - seed 1 - 2nd place
Team 467 - LI - seed 18 - 1st place
Team 505 - NY - seed 15
Team 571 - NY - seed 8 - 5th place
Team 596 - NY - seed 36 - 3rd place
Team 809 - PA - seed 39
Team 839 - VA - seed 8 - ??? place

There will be a LOT of quality robots there. I can't wait!

Rick

Funny, I was just about to sit down and scour the results from previous regionals to find out the same thing. I was wondering how many 2002 champions would be in the New England regional. By your list, it appears to be four. Not bad!

For the record, 157 was seeded 8th in LI and actually picked 7th due to the #1 picking the #3.

Good work with you list!

Arrow FYI

Hehe, just for the record, in Long Island Team 230 was picked 2nd in the draft because, like Mark said, #1 picked #3.

We finished Tied for 5th place overall. At one point we were ranked in qualifying as high as 5th because we were scoring consistantly, but we had one really bad match (10-0) and that was that. "
