League II Week XI Analysis
eh, better late than never...
Koko's X-Cats (6-5) vs.JC's Juggernauts (4-7) The X-Cats are hoping for better play out of Aaron Brooks while the Juggernauts are looking for good play from Quincy Carter. The running game is pretty even as is the recivers so it may come down to which teams quarterback performs. Rhode Island Charge (6-5) vs. Philly Cheesesteaks (8-3) ] Both teams possess a couple of the most productive fantasy quarterbacks (Drew Brees for the Charge, Daunte Culpepper for the Cheesesteaks) the difference lies in the running game. The Cheesesteaks have the advantage with Domanick Davis and Duece McAllister over Willis McGahee and Josh Scobey. South Fl Jets (7-4) vs.Nor Cal Crushers (5-6) [/COLOR The Jets need Matt Hasselback to get back on the field especially with Jerome Bettis being relegated back to the bench with the return of Duce Staley. The Crushers have Trent Green playing well and but an aging Fred Taylor and an underperforming Kevin Jones. Dunedain (5-6) vs The Borg (4-7) So long as the Borg continue to leave Brad Johnson in the starting lineup they will continue to struggle. If Micheal Vick plays to his capable level of play he should lead Dunedain to victory. Toronto Fumblers (6-5) vs. The Lightning ( 5-6) The Lightning have the bigger names in the backfield (Marc Bulger, Edgerrin James, Rudi Johnson) than the Fumblers (Ben Roethlisberger , Chester Taylor, Julius Jones) but the Fumblers have a significant advantage with their recievers. Hurricanes (2-8-1) vs. Coco's Monkeys (6-5) ] The McNabb/Manning battle is practically a deadlock as are most of the battles up and down the rosters. What BJ Sams provides in the return game may take the Monkeys over the top. This Space for Rent(3-8) The Bonecrushers have been missing Byron Leftwich for the past few weeks and my get him back this weekend otherwise they could be looking at hurting their playoff chances severly if Tom Brady or Thomas Jones get hot. Stud Man Clan (4-7) vs.Cooney Quest (9-2) The Quest get a bye basically. The Clan are good as dead as long as they continue to ignore their roster. Valleygirls (7-4) vs. The Shoats (7-3-1) The Shoats are looking for their Indy 1-2 punch (Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne) to score lots of points fr them as well as Tiki Barber who may be able to gash the Eagles D for yards and points. The Valleygirls need lots of production from Emmit Smith, Kevin Watson and Javon Walker to snatch this one away. |
