I really, really like it. You guys can essentially sit on the ramp and transfer balls from one trough to the other, right? That is pretty scary.
Good Luck, I'll keep an eye out for you guys; that's gonna be a fun robot to watch.

Wow.....that is a great idea!

One of our brainstorming teams came up with an idea that looked similar....they called it the 'Monkey machine' because it could climb back and forth between the goals and manipulate the score at will......what a great concept! (also controlling the bar at the end)

Good luck......I can't wait to see your machine at work in the competition!

One question:

What kind of damage can the arm take when it's extended out?

Gimme a couple of days...

This design takes guts. We thought about it, but chickened out on 'monkeying' around.

Once you get your contraption up there, I don't see a way to stop you very easily.

Hats off to Raul & Dan and the entire WildStang Gang!

COOOOOL ROBOT!

Giving me fits of lost sleep. Stategy Stategy Stategy... How DO we beat that Aluminum Beaty?

As to the particulars:

Looks like standard 4 wheel drive, tank style steering.

Ball sucker looks awesome. First-In-First-Out design. Holds 8? 10? More? Balls.

Hanging? Look at the photos.

Goes under the rail by tilting the conveyor down I guess. This is probably also the ball collection position. Very nice.

An all around contender, I would reckon.

Other thoughts? Share them.

Joe J.

P.S. Not that I am looking for chinks in the armor or anything, but do you ever have ball jams? Do tell...
