Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers
Posted by Scott Strickland at 1/10/2001 1:27 PM EST
Engineer on team #21, ComBBAT, from Astronaut & Titusville High School and Boeing/NASA. In Reply to: Best Wheel Grip? Posted by Eric Reed on 1/9/2001 11:07 PM EST: We have used the small rubber bumpers from Small Parts. They are normally used for the feet of computers etc. Use the one with a washer. Cost is fairly low. (can't remember the p/n) We rivet them to our wheels. Replace them as the wear. Incredible Traction with the carpet. : We are looking for ideas to modify the wheelchair wheels or create new wheels. We want the most grip possible. Any suggestions? : Thanks, : Eric. |
