: The rules say that you have to use an autodesk/kintex product while making your animation. Personally, I've never used Rhino that much, but from what I recall, it sucks at animation. But anyways, you've gotta use some autodesk product. I suppose you could get away with just using Inventor, but it's really implied that you should be using 3ds.

so in spirit of supporting FIRST and the freebies it gets, we should try to learn 3ds. for that matter, it's an awesome program.

but just so you know, if you were to use another program, they would never find out you did. but that wouldnt be graciously professioninnycaal.
