Talking Team Spirit

This is my first year on a first robotics team. I was just wondering what is some of the craziest things you have seen done to win the Team Spirit Award?

I've done crazier things to get items from other teams than to show team spirit. Of course, it's not about winning the spirit award. It's about screaming for your awesome team. And then losing your voice. And then feeling like you're going to vomit. And then screaming more anyway. Yeah. I want to chant the chant right now...*reverie*

Well, last year MOE was the winner of the National Team Spirit Award. We didn't do anything especially crazy, it truly was just our team spirit. Ask anyone, and they'll tell you that we are probably the loudest, most obnoxious team out there, and we were these bright green jerseys as icing on the cake. The main reason we won was summed up by the announcer when he said that there was one team who cheered non-stop for this entire event, from before we opened the pits, to the present, regardless of their robot's performance. Last year, our robot was a 3-goal grabber, and we were buried in the standings in terms of QP's. However, we cheered the entire time, and with our MOEstix, it could be heard throughout the entire venue. Thats basically it, and we are looking forward to the Astro Dome...I hear that sound reverberates in there rather nicely.

Last year my team just had LOTS AND LOTS of ORANGE . We had orange everything, jumpsuits, jackets, hats, masks, signs, tatoos, leis, wigs, basically anything ornage we could find for cheap!
Sadly to say a lot of people wear orange to stand out so in essence you don't we were often confused with other orange teams like GUS and L33T CREW (Does ne one even know what that means?) to name a few
