Can we use editing tools such as final cut pro 3.0 or adobe after effects if we still keep to the same way of compression, cinemax codec??? if so it will make life about half a million times easier...

You can because 3D Studio Max doesn't support multiple scenes (like Flash 5). We're using some Ulead media pro crap, I don't know what it's really called cuz it's bloatware and I use VirtualDub instead (which is free too, by the way). There's no other way to join AVI files unless you type in DOS: "copy test.avi+test2.avi+test3.avi finaltest.avi", but you don't wanna do that.
