Question Does the line continue up the ramp?

Does the white line continue up the ramp?

The thread below makes mention of the supports in line with the tape being reflective. I just want a little more clarification.

The line itself does not continue, but I believe that one of the ramp supports lines up directly with the white line.

TWO of the ramp supports line up with the two lines. These supports are not painted white, but they are aluminum, and should be easily detected by your optical sensors.

One twist -- which I haven't had a chance to play around with -- is the fact that over this aluminum support is the wire mesh. This will PROBABLY cause the signal from the support to flicker as you go up the ramp.

The tape is not the reflective tape used for marking the containers for human player use. From "the Game" section 10.4 "If tape is used to mark the white tapelines that run from inside of the starting areas to the base of the ramps, it will be Shurtape, PC-628 Premium Grade Tape, Vinyl Coated Cloth, White, 2” wide. If you cannot find this tape, go to:
www.tapemonster.com.
If FIRST decides to use paint or some other means to indicate these paths, you will be informed in a
Team Update."
While it is true that the wire mesh is copper flashed, I would not depend on the copper remaining for an entire competition. I expect the mesh to become worn and polished.
