Looks to me like the lego pieces with the tracks that come with the Mindstorms kit. No frame of size reference though

LEGO

It is legos, with some sort of photo editing effect added. you can see the cylinder knobs sticking out the top of the piece. The axles also look like the "cross" shape from the lego axles.

probably no photo editing required, just a flash of the camera. Looking closer at it, the far ends of the tread spacers are the actual mindstorm tread holders. The center 3 gears are just to fool people into thinking it's something like how the tehcnocats teaser is designed.
