Yeah, no one is going to get fat by riding a Segway. They
will however get good at inventing reasons to take short trips!

I was very comfortable on the Segway at Disney last year, and I am comfortable (kind of) on our custom segway the KnightKrawler
but most people that try this machine of ours seem to use a lot of nervous energy or whatever trying to stay balanced!

Most everyone on Team 122 has ridden this thing and some did
report "I can feel it in my legs" ect. Just an observation.

There are simple rules to balance a Segway like vehicle with no balancing gyro, sense your balance, make small corrections in the right direction, relax, avoid over correction, and always leave some speed in reserve to right yourself.

Sorry if a Knight Krawler drivers manual popped up here all of a sudden... I could not help myself.

Use your Segway to go to the Gym! That will take care of the
over-weight and under-weight riders!

Fat people are not going to ride Segways. Standing is too much work for them. If they do ride them then at least they will get around more and will, I suspect, get some exercise picking the 70 pound Segway up and putting it in the car, carrying it up/down stairs, and generally moving it where it can't roll.
And that very shortage in capability of the Segway will fuel the market for the next generation.

Its bound to evolve.
