Drill Motor and FP Motor Shaft Diameters

I'm doing some reverse engineering on our 2001 drive motor assembly, and I need some details. I don't have this information in front of me, and I thought that somebody out there will.

What are the dimensions for the:

Drill Motor shaft diameter?

Fisher-Price Motor shaft diameter?

I think that both are 0.125", but I'm not sure.

TIA,
Andy B.

Looking at the motor catalog...

Fisher-Price motor: 3.17mm dia

Drill motor: 5mm dia

I am 99% that these are right. I am looking in the catalog now, but there is a slight chance that I have looked up the wrong number.

I found some data... FP is right, but Drill is 4mm

Looking at my CAD files, I modeled the shaft of the Drill motor at 0.157" (4mm).

I'm pretty sure that this is right. I just wish that I had a motor in front of me to confirm this.

4mm is right

Oops!

I forgot to get out the Johnson Electric catalog for the drill motor.

I thought the motor was equivalent to a 775 motor from Mabuchi. It does have the same can size (42.2 daimeter by 66 mm length), but Johnson sells the motor with 2 different shaft sizes.

Ah well...

I have two drawings from Johnson Electric, one with the 5mm shaft and one with 4mm. I THINK that the 4mm is right, but don't have a motor to mic up right now.

Can anybody get us to 100% certainty?
