Chatsworth Summer Classic Results

Beach Bot had a great time at the Chatsworth Summer Classic, which was put on by this year's Chairman's award winners.

There were a total of 14 teams from Southern and Northern California.

Because of the odd number of teams they decided to have the top 3 alliances each play two games. The allliance with the highest average score was the one that won.

The winner:
Alliance #2
254A (cheesy poofs won another competition)
376
524
476

Runner-up:
Alliance #1
22A
115
598
599

3rd place:
330
254B
259
22B

The cheesy poof alliance totally outshined everyone else. Their average in the finals was 500 something. The other two alliance had major problems and only average 50 something and 40 something.

Team 294 was the second seed and the most reliable balancer there, but had major problems in the last match in which a goal flipped on top of themselves. Their partners grabbed the goal and righted it, but in the process flipped the 294 robot onto one wheel. This broke thier goal grabbing mechanism and the decided to sit out the finals rather than hurt their alliance with a nonfunctional robot.

Thank you again to Chatsworth (22) for putting on this event!
