Koko's X-Cats (5-3) d. R.I. Electrons (3-5)
98-94
<Nick Bakay mode>It all looks well and good with Tommy Maddox taking on Seattle. You have faith in the XFL MVP. He gives you 31 points. ::WOOOOOO:: Up next, Washington at Dallas. A Washington touchdown means a point for John Hall... but he stoinks the extra point for a -3. Washington scores again, and they go for 2? Are they crazy? Had Hall not stoinked it, you would've won by 1! ::BUZZ:: Oh well, you still have Peerless Price and Randy McMichael going for you. They both score 8. Of course, your opponent's WRs outscore them combined by 7. ::BUZZ:: Okay, next we have our less-than-spectacular RBs netting you 12. What, those darn X-Cat's have outscored you by 2 there?!? ::BUZZ:: You have 6 defenders (one you don't want to let go of, and are playing a man down). They have an okay 24 Ack! The enemy has 35 there! ::BUZZ:: This all brings us to Denver at New England, Monday Night Football. An interception and a fumble recovery put you up early. Your Broncos return a punt for a touchdown... and what's this? The Patriots are giving you a saftey? Hey, you'll take it. But then on the kickoff, your punt returner is out there, and lets it go by for a 30 yard difference. Stoink! The Patriots get it back under two minutes. They can't stop Tom Brady! What ever happened to the age-old practice of taking a knee?!? One touchdown later, and your Broncos are on the losing end, now having lost points for giving up more than twentyfour. Their 14 isn't enough to get you a win. ::BUZZ:: Your wallet's looking pretty dry right now, you're sulking at losing five straight. You are near the basement. Is all hope lost? Can the Electrons win out and hold eighth place? Find out on next weeks installment of Eddie's Nightmare.</Nick Bakay mode>

-To Be Determined-(3-5) d. Scrawney White Guys (2-6)
113-49
This one should've been closer than it actually was. It looks like the White Guys had almost a total spontaneous heart attack. One receiver was off, and five others put up a zero. New Orleans's 25 was impressive, but they only had 2 more on defense. TBD played Kerry Collins for a 44, with a running game worth 22 (more than enough for a win). They only had two 0's.

Dunedain(4-2-2) vs. Nor Cal Crushers (3-5)
Draw
106-106
Is it just me, or Dunedain a magnet for ties? Tom Brady's 37 on Monday put him in this position. A 28 in receiveing, and an all-around coalition for Nor Cal made this a very impressive game for both teams.

ValleyGirls (7-1) vs. Cooney Quest (4-3-1)
121-80
A nice QB battle had Daunte Culpepper take in 43 for the Girls, and outscore Bret Favre by 8. Cooney had two vital positions take in zero, which isn't good against the ValleyGirls. A 43 in defense to supplement the afforementioned Cullpepper is enough for victory.

29 Patriots(1-7) d. Bane (3-4-1)
79-64
The Patriots had two byes, compared to one donut, and a -1 for Bane. Sounds like Bane got the worst of this, losing the QB battle by 6. It was a no-contest in running and receiving as well. A 10 by the Pats kicker put them over the top.

CB234(6-2) d. Hurricanes (4-4)
88-34
Ouch! Jeff Garcia not playing had to hurt the Hurricanes, and he really didn't have much else to begin with. A 14 on defense and no one else in double digits only made it worse. CB was able to win the QB battle by 3 (think about it), but their strength came from a running game that tallied 16, and a receiving game taking 28. Mike Vanderjagt came up with 13. Do the math.

Your Team Name (6-2) vs Philly Cheesesteaks (8-0)
Draw
99-99
Philly actually lost the QB battle by three, enough to warrant our second tie this week. High points for Philly: Manning (30), Coles (10), a solid conglomerate (the rest of the score ). High points for YTN: Jeff Blake (33), Jay Feely (10), Mike Barrow (10), and another spectacular conglomeration. There goes Philly's all-win scenario. Will someone finally get them off the undefeated list?

Coco's Monkeys (3-5) d. Chesapeake Cruisers(5-3)
133-108
Okay... how the hell are the Monkey's doing it? They were once the worst team in the league, being the butt of many a joke from Ed & Eddie. Suddenly, they are looking at making a playoff run, and in impressive style, nonetheless. They had Santana Moss catch balls for 31. I could say that led them to their third straight. But you have to at least mention the 52 on defense, led by Detroit (yes, Detroit). Chesapeake also played a great game. Their Baltimore defense (litterally. four of the defenders are Ravens, and they have the Baltimore defense) scored 50, the receivers had 22, and a conglomerate the rest of the way gave them their 108 total. But against the Monkeys, it wasn't enough. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'm having a stroke.

Snowballs (2-6) d. Pinman(1-7)
107-77
Taking a cue from the Monkeys, Chad Pennington is suddenly usefull with a 44. A 29 in running and Torry Holt's 22 made up for the lack of any defense (alright, they got 5 from it). Speaking of defense, Pinman was missing two, and had a donut. His 22 was better than the Snowballs, but a RB and WR also put up 0's for Pinman. Randy Moss's 14 couldn't pull them out of an already tremendous hole. Matt Hasselback's 28 tried to help, but couldn't get Pinman to two straight. He is now unfortunately back in the basement.

WEEK X ANALYSIS

Last week of byes...
lets get down to business!

Koko's X-Cats (6-3) vs.-To Be Detrmined-(4-5)
The X-Cats are forced to go with the courageous but ultimately doomed patrick Ramsey while TBD sics Kerry Collins on the hapless Falcons. Ricky Willaims has been a bit of a dissapointment for TBD and may have to depend on Derrick Mason taking apart the Dolphins secondary. Correll Buckhalter could be a sleeper for the X-Cats and Dante Hall is always a threat to do something.

R.I. Electrons (3-6) vs.Hurricanes (4-5)
The 'Canes are shooting blanks this week, especially at quarterback with Jeff Garcia on a bye. This may be the break the Elctrons need to break out of their five game losing streak. Preist Holmes still need to play well (a good chance of that against Cleveland) and Tommy Maddox needs to come through. The Hurricanes best hope comes from Chad Johnson.

Dunedain(4-2-3) vs. Scrawney White Guys (2-7)
Dunedain is looking for a big game from Anothony Thomas to compensate for Shaun Alexander and Stepehn Davis on the other side. The reciever battle and the defensive battle leans Dunedain's way if for no other reason than byes.

Cooney's Quest (4-4-1) vs.No Cal Crushers (3-5-1)
A pretty tight matchup but the Quest may have the advantage with Brett Farve starting to act like himself agian , even with the injured thumb. The Crushers have Brian Greise who is an improvement over Jay Fiedler but the Dolphins line is playing surprisingly poor and Greise may get slammed alot by the Titans D. What Faulks contributes for the Quest or Micheal Bennet contributes for the Crushers may well determine who wins this day.

29 Patriots(2-7)vs. Valleygirls (8-1)
Teh Patriots step up to take on the unstoppable Valleygirls and instantly show up short handed with no less than four blank spots on the roster instantly condemming themselves to crushing defeat.

Bane (3-5-1) vs. Pinman(1-8)
Just like the 29 Patriots above, Pinman is also comming into this week with four blank spots on the roster. Bane isn't the dominating monster team the Valleygirls have been but if his recievers produce like they have the ability to do and if Corey Dillion decides to sto[ pouting and start playing then Pinman will be occupying the basement for yet anotehr week, no mateer what Randy Moss does.

Your Team Name (6-2-1) vs.CB234(7-2)
Game of the week! Or at least it should be. YTN is comming into this week sporting three blanks including one at reciever, leaving Terry Glenn alone to take on Keenan McCardell and PeterWarrick. Not an impossible task but how many three touchdown games does Glenn have in him?

Chesepaek Cruisers(5-4) vs. Philly Cheesesteaks (8-0-1)
Keeping with this week's fad, the Cruisers also go at less-than-full-strenght against the leaugue's best team the Cheesesteaks. If Manning abuses the Jaguars (do they still sponsor a FIRST team?) like he is expected to, I guess it wouldn't matter anyways.

Snowballs (3-6) vs.Coco's Monkeys (4-5)
From the team everyone was hoping to play to the team no one wants to play, the Monkey's have come a long way. And on cue the SNowballs do without Clinton Portis and Jason Elam ( who was seriously injured anyways) The Snowballs need out-of-their-mind play from Pennington,Ahaman Green, Holt and Koren Robinson to keep up with Trent Green, Thomlinson, Coles, Barber and Boston. Things aren't looking too good for the Snowballs.

Finally some good news. I'm going to need it too, because it looks like Miami is taking at least 20 for you.

Week 10 Results

R.I. Electrons (3-6) d. Hurricanes (4-5)
98-47
The Nightmare is over! After losing five straight, the 3-6 Electrons went to play the 4-5 Hurricanes. And I must say, the Electrons caught a break, with the Hurricanes shooting blanks at QB, and missing a RB. Rhode Island once again had to rely on Tommy Maddox (33) and Priest Holmes (23). Add 10 from John Hall, and no lousy receiving week will stop the Electrons. Speaking of receivers, Chad Johnson for the Hurricanes took 11, the only player in double digits for them. With their high fantasy score, the Electrons my now be looking at a playoff run.

-To Be Determined-(4-5) d. Koko's X-Cats (6-3)
79-70
If you took the over on this, you will be terrified. The QB battle stayed low, but interesting, with the X-Cats' Patrick Ramsey outdoing Kerry Collins by 4. Keeping in closeness, TBD won running by 6, and receiving by 3. The cats had 2 more in the kicking game. 35 to 29 was the final score on defense. And who took defense? TBD, leading him to a win.

Dunedain(4-2-3) d. Scrawney White Guys (2-7)
109-36
Probably the most underrated team in the league due to the three ties, Dunedain looked uopn the White Guys for prey (another non-PC phrase by me...). Do the words "absolute slaughter" mean anything? Led by Joey Harrington with 28, the rampaging Dunedain dominated everything except the running. In fact, their defense alone was enough to win with 49. Can't say much about the White Guys. Tony Gonzalez had 14. That was about it. Of course, it doesn't help when your QB has been replaced by Doug Flutie, your RB is benched, your WR and DEF are off, and two defenders contribute nothing.

Cooney Quest (4-4-1) d. Nor Cal Crushers (3-5-1)
111-55
We all know how bad Bret Favre's adventure in Philledelphia went. He scored 15 for Cooney. But to start the Crushers out on a bad page, Brian Griese scored -3. Things got worse running wise. Marshall Faulk scored 16 for the Quest. The theme continues this way, ending with Tampa Bay's Tim Wansley having two interceptions and a TD, totalling 21. You know Nor Cal is in trouble when the opponent's high score is a defender.

ValleyGirls (8-1) d. 29 Patriots(2-7)
163-48
Immediately looking at the Patriots, they were missing a RB, WR, and two defenders. Of course, when you see that the ValleyGirls have just scored a 163, you will realize that the Pats had a snowball's chance in hell anyway. Really, there's nothing to say about the Pats this week. Especially when the Girls' Daunte Culpepper could've beaten the Pats, Hurricanes, Scrawny White Guys, Nor cal Crushers, and Bane. He had 60, just short of the single player record this year (although I still say he got humbled by Doug Flutie). The running backs scored 37, (enough to beat the afforementioned White Guys), and the defense totaled 47 (beating the White Guys again. I get the feeling Ryan is going to kill me now). The ValleyGirls beat their own record by 1 this week, all but earning them a playoff birth.

Pinman(1-8) d. Bane (3-5-1)
74-49
This one shouldn't have been even close. With Pinman missing a WR, K, DEF, and a defender, Bane had a wide open slot (and a full team) to possibly make a playoff run. So what happened? Let's look at the defense first. Bane had four 0's there, and almost spontaneous combustion that netted only 8 points. Things got worse when their backs did absolutely nothing, save a 5 from one of them. 1 from a kicker, and a WR total of 8 should still seem like Bane should've won. Hell, they took QBs by 2. But Pinman had an ace up his sleve in the form of Randy Moss's 21. I think I can safely call this an upset.

CB234(7-2) d. Your Team Name (6-2-1)
113-99
"Game of the week! Or at least it should be. YTN is comming into this week sporting three blanks including one at reciever, leaving Terry Glenn alone to take on Keenan McCardell and PeterWarrick. Not an impossible task but how many three touchdown games does Glenn have in him?" Finally, an excuse to quote Ed. This was indeed the game of the week, although it was much closer than it ever should've been. A 38-33 QB battle kept things close, and YTN had a RB with 17 and St. Louis with 30. But the afforementioned Terry Glen only gave YTN a point, and those three blanks came back to haunt them. CB had an impressive defensive effort take 41 (another shot at the Scrawny White Guys), and everyone else contributed something, enough to edge out YTN.

Philly Cheesesteaks (8-0-1) d. Chesapeake Cruisers(5-4)
106-103
I take that back: this was the game of the week. For those of you betting the under thinking that Chesapeake wouldn't perform, you were dead wrong. They almost out-conglomerated the Cheesesteaks with nothing too spectacular, but a high combined total. But they were missing a WR, a decision that would cost them dearly. Lacking on defense (Minnesota scored a -2, need I mention Doug Flutie again?), Philly had to turn once again to Mr. Reliable, Peyton Manning. Combining his 38 with a Rudi Johnson 20 and a Laveranues Coles 15, Philly was just able to avoid defeat yet agin, and clinch a spot in the playoffs.

Coco's Monkeys (4-5) d. Snowballs (3-6)
154-92
Another game where the under was so appealing turns into an all-out score fest. By far the highest scoring game this week (and between the Monkeys and Snowballs, nonetheless), the game easily came down to defense. The Snowballs had none (alright, the Titans with a nice 25). Everything for the Snowballs came on offense, and while impressive, with all those big donuts on defense, the Snowballs had a snowball's chance in hell (there's that analogy again...) agaist a Monkeys team sporting a Trent Green 54, a 30 in receiving, LaDainian Tomlinson's 24, and a defense that actually did something.

WEEK XI ANALYSIS

The Byes are now over and barring injury everyone should be comming at each other with nothing but their best! It gets serious now folks...!

Koko's X-Cats (6-4) vs.Dunedain(5-2-3)
One of the more interesting aspects of this matchup is the dueling running backs from the Philadelphia Eagles. The X-Cats have Correll Buckhalter and Dunedain has Brain Westbrook (now watch aas Duece Staley gets all the big plays ). Dunedain has an advantage at wide reciever but the X-Cats my be at an advantage with Aaron Brooks taking on the Atlanta Falcons defense.

R.I. Electrons (4-6) vs.Your Team Name (6-3-1)
The Electrons stopped the bleeding last week and now face Your Team Name who have a disadvantage at quarterback and an unpredictable running game. I f Tommy Maddox can produce and Priest Holmes does what he does best then maybe the Electrons can go from falling star to playoff conteneder.

-To Be Detrmined-(5-5) vs. Hurricanes (4-6)
TBD might have an instant advantage with Brad Johnson if Jeff Garcia still isn't ready to go. Mike Anderson is suspended as well, so that doesn't help. To even things out a bit Kevin Johnson has been cut by the Browns and isn't ready to play for the Jaguars quite yet. The use of Atlanta's porous defense is always a shaky proposition as well.

Cooney's Quest (5-4-1) vs.Scrawney White Guys (2-8)
The White Guys try to shake things up by using the ageless Doug Flutie to go with his pair of awesome running backs, Stephen Davis and Shaun Alexnader. The Quest go with Tim Rattay and hopes that Marshal Faulk is healthy enough to perform well this week.

29 Patriots(2-8)vs. No Cal Crushers (3-6-1)
The Patriots may have a sizeable advantage at quartback with Marc Bulger finding easier sailing aginst a much less fromible Bears defense instead of the rabid Ravens D. Carr may not have as much sucess against a tough Bills pass defense for the Crushers. The running backs could go either way though it leans slightly the Crushers way with Eddie george riding the coatials of the Ttitans offensive machine. THe Crushers do have to worry about Darrell Jacksons severe case of the dropsies.

Bane (3-6-1) vs.Valleygirls (9-1)
Bne is hurting. HIs best weapon Marvin Harrison is injured. Corey Dillion is out and fuming and the Valleygirls come a callin'. This isn't gonna be pretty.

Chesepaek Cruisers(5-5) vs.CB234(8-2)
The Cruiser's Jake Delhomme vs. CB234's Steve McNair is a massive mismatch, even in spite of Delphomme heroics last week. McNair does that every week. As usual the Cruisers lay thier hopes on the fortunes of the Ravens. They will be having a tough scrum down in Miami so the defense shold do well but I'm not so sure about Jamal Lewis. CB234 could get a big day out of Travis Henry.

Snowballs (3-7) vs. Philly Cheesesteaks (9-0-1)
Do not be surpised if teh Snowballs give the Cheesesteaks problems. Their offense is pretty formiable and Peyton Manning will be missing his favorite target and the Vikings D has regressed to last years pitiful form. Duece McAllister will have to come through for the Cheesesteaks this week.

Pinman(2-8) vs.Coco's Monkeys (5-5)
The Monkeys have a huge advantage at running back (if Tiki Barber could hold onto the ball) and they have a red hot Trent Green at their disposal so the use of the impotent Detriot Lions defense doesn't hurt them. Pinman need Randy Moss, MAtt Hasselback and the New England Patiots defesne to have big days to keep up.

The Electrons stopped the bleeding last week and now face Your Team Name who have a disadvantage at quarterback and an unpredictable running game. I f Tommy Maddox can produce and Priest Holmes does what he does best then maybe the Electrons can go from falling star to playoff conteneder.
This is from Yahoo:
Quote:
Nov 13 Running back Jerome Bettis. who suffered a slight separation of his right shoulder last week against Arizona, was held out of Wednesday’s practice. Bettis returned to the game following the injury, and X-rays revealed no structural damage. He is listed as questionable for Monday night’s game in San Francisco.

Views: Even at 100 percent, Bettis has not been the 20-carry per game back he used to be. Amos Zereoue could see additional work if Bettis is nicked up Monday night, but neither makes a particularly attractive fantasy play against a 49ers’ defense that has held six of its last seven opponents to 94 or fewer rushing yards.
Why is this important? Because I'm down by 16, and Amos Zereoue is his only player playing on Monday. So I better hope Maddox either favors Bettis, or launches an all-out pass attack. Which may be likely considering San Francisco has an excelent run defense.

Week XI Post-Game Analysis

R.I. Electrons (4-6) d. Your Team Name (6-3-1)
The first of five teams eyeing that number eight spot, the Electrons' hope seemed lost after the Chiefs got bungled in Cincinatti, only letting Priest Holmes pull in 6. More hope seemed lost when Holmes was R.I.'s only scoring RB, and only one of their WRs scored (a 2). A combined 21 in receiving by YTN looked to finish off the commissioner for the season. Even a miserable 7 at QB for YTN looked hopeless. Rhode Island's only shining star was Seattle with 21... until Monday. Down by 16, the the Electrons got their miracle in the form of Tommy Maddox. Against the run-centric San Francisco defense, he was able to score 33, and pull the Electrons out of the fire, and into top contention for that number eight spot.

Dunedain(5-2-3) d. Koko's X-Cats (6-4)
134-75
From top playoff contender to midcard in a few short weeks, the X-Cats looked to be on the rebound after a disappointing game last week. Then, they ran into the underrated Dunedain. Hard. Really, only Green Bay was able to provide a better-than-average score with 17. But with two defenders having 0, and single digit scores everywhere else, the Cats were sitting ducks against a Dunedain charge including Brian Westbrook's 25, and Terrell Owens with 17. Even without the defense's 56, Dunedain is now officially either top of the middle, or bottom of the top (and I mean that in a good way), and the X-Cats are now in that afforementioned number eight spot.

-To Be Determined-(5-5) d. Hurricanes (4-6)
92-68
The next two of those five teams on the ball for that number eight spot took stage in a battle likely to determine (no pun intended) the fate of these two teams. A spectacular 23 from Atlanta got TBD into the early lead, and they never looked back. A combined 21 running put them farther in the lead, and with no QB and four other zeros, the Hurricanes had, barring a miracle from God (and he already interfered on the Electrons' behalf, so he was probably all miracled out), no chance of a comeback. Granted, Miami and Phillip Buchanon came through with 17 each. Even then, there was no shot. TBD is now lingering in playoff contention.

Cooney Quest (5-4-1) d. Scrawny White Guys (2-8)
102-96
In playoff contention, but still needing a win, Cooney looked upon Tim Rattay for 38. It looks like the Guys took my subliminal messageing about Doug Flutie last week. Unfortunately, he was a week late, with the QB only taking 2 (on a two-point conversion, nonetheless). Let's be fair though: that combined 42 in receiving and Shaun Alexander's 14 played well for the White Guys (::runs::). Cooney had nothing else spectacular. But they only had one leak on the team, and it all coalesced into enough points to move them into a better playoff contention, and to mathematically eliminate the Scrawny White Guys from the playoffs.

29 Patriots(2-8) d. Nor Cal Crushers (3-6-1)
83-73
Really, all this one came down too was the QB battle. Or lack thereof in the Crusher's case. David Carr only scored 2. Meanwhile, the Patriots had Marc Bulger score 37, plenty for a victory, keeping their slim playoff hopes at least alive.

ValleyGirls (9-1) d. Bane (3-6-1)
120-76
"Bane is hurting. His best weapon Marvin Harrison is injured. Corey Dillion is out and fuming and the Valleygirls come a callin'. This isn't gonna be pretty." Yeah... Ed was right, it wasn't pretty (one psychic point to Ed ). While Cleveland had an okay day with 19 on Bane's side, a 10 in QB summed up Bane's day. Led by a Daunte Culpepper 30, the ValleyGirls easily clinced their playoff birth.

CB234(8-2) d. Chesapaeke Cruisers(5-5)
116-90
The forth team locking on to that number eight spot had a tough match against CB. The QB battle looked in Chesapeake's favor 24-14. Unfortuantely, there was nothing else to help them. CB had a terrible QB score, but picked it up in running with 33 and receiving with 27. Having only one donut, CB was also able to clinch a playoff birth. The Cruisers are now in the middle of their hunt for eighth.

Philly Cheesesteaks (9-0-1) d. Snowballs (3-7)
122-103
With the first guaranteed playoff spot in the league, Philly didn't have to field any players. They could lose the rest of their games, and still have a shot at the championship. They did win, you know. But it was probably, ney, it was in the best game this week. The Snowballs had great performances from Chad Pennington (33), Ahman Green (12), Torry Holt (20), and Tennesee (14). But sadly, they were playing Philly. And a great game wasn't able to outdo a 41 from Manning, and an excelent defensive presence.

Pinman(2-8) d. Coco's Monkeys (5-5)
111-97
The last of the five teams in search of the number eight looked to take advantage of the bottom of the barrel. And until Monday night, it looked like a possiblilty for the Monkeys to win their fifth straight. Led by Trent Green's 46, it looked like the Monkey's were going to hold the eight spot. But not this time. Pinman was led by Matt Hasselback scoring 37, and enough conglomeration put them down by 5 until Jerome Bettis scored 10 Monday. Ahmed Plummer scored 9 on Monday, and Pinman didn't look back at placing the Monkey's on the bottom of the eight hunt.

Lets see if I've got my math down (and please, correct me if I'm wrong). With 3 weeks left:
  • Cheesesteaks, ValleyGirls, and CB have all clinched.
  • Dunedain can clinch with a win, or if the Electrons, Cruisers, and Monkeys all get a loss by season's end.
  • Cooney and YTN can clinch with a win and all 3 of the Electrons, Cruisers, and Monkeys losing a game, or with 2 wins.
  • TBD and the X-Cats need to win all 3 games to clinch, or win two and have Electrons, Cruisers, and Monkeys all lose 1 (and I guess they could lose out, and still clinch if Electrons, Cruisers, and Monkeys lose out. you get the idea).
  • Electrons, Cruisers, and Monkeys are in good shape if they all win 2, and TBD and X-Cats lose 1.
  • Hurricanes can't lose more than once, and really need TBD and X-Cats to lose a couple.
  • Crushers, Bane, Pinman, Snowballs, and Patriots all need to win out to even hope for a playoff spot.
  • And thanks for playing Ryan, but the Scrawny White Guys are out.

Looking at the schedule:
  • The Electrons still have the Cruisers and Monkeys to play. If they can win both, they are probably in. On the flip side, if either the Monkeys or Cruisers beat the Electrons, they are also looking pretty good.
  • The X-Cats have Cooney next week, and will be in good position if they win.
  • TBD has the Cruisers week 13, and the winner will most likely be in the playoffs.
  • Cooney and YTN square oof in Week 14 (last week of regulation). While they'll probably have clinched by then, if they haven't, this match may decide everything.
  • Hurricanes are going to have to sit back and watch everything unfold. With no matches that can directly affect them if they beat their opponent, they will need some things to play out to their advantage.
  • Chesapeake has TBD Week 13, and with a TBD loss to YTN, if the Cruisers win, they are in good shape.
  • And finally, already having playoff spots, Philly, the ValleyGirls, and CB now have a shot at doing some serious spoiling. The Girls can end Pinman next week, CB can end the Snowballs, and Philly can put a serious dent in the Monkey's playoff shot. CB has the Monkeys the following week, and if the Monkeys can get by both teams, they are not only deserving of a playoff spot, but my actually have a shot at the title. The Girls can end the Crushers in Week 13, and if they somehow lost to Pinman the previous week, Philly has a chance to end them the same week. Week 14 for those three will just be for fun for those three, as Philly has CB (that is going to be a very good one), and the ValleyGirls have the already eliminated White Guys (Guys vs. Girls, lol).

I think that's about it. If anybody has anything to add, post it.

WEEK XII ANALYSIS

Koko's X-Cats (6-5)vs.Cooney's Quest (6-4-1)
The X-Cats are on life support and Cooney's Quest is seeking better playoff postioning. Cooney should get some nice points from the Buccaneers defense playing the error-prone Giants. The X-Cats need top efforts from Aaron Brooks and Steve Smith to stay competitive.

R.I. Electrons (5-6) vs.Chesepaek Cruisers(5-6)
The Elctrons bring Priest Holmes, the Cruisers bring Jamal Lewis. Who will blink? The Electrons will live and die by what Tommy Maddox does and he should just bernch Moulds who is not going to be effective anymore this year with his groin injury, The Cruisers are happy to have Jake Plummer back and may get some nice production out of Todd Heap this week.

-To Be Determined-(6-5) vs.Your Team Name (6-4-1)
Battle of the non-commitals. YTN is living dangerously going with Jeff Blake and Amos Zeroue. Fred Taylor is hurting (as usual) and his most reliable offensive performer is Rod Smith. TBD gets away with using the porous (and poor) Atlanta Falcons D, who will get abused by league MVP canidate Steve McNiar but as long as Brad Johnson and Ricky Williams perform it shouldn't be an issue.

Dunedain(6-2-3) vs. Hurricanes (4-7)
Somehow the Hurricans have still managed to sport holes in their roster even though there are no more byes. Mike NAderson is suspended and Jeff Garcia is an emergency backup. The Miami D and Chad Johnson will have to save the day. If Owens or Westbrook have anotehr day like they had last week, it's Dunedain in a cakewalk.

29 Patriots(3-8) vs.Scrawny White Guys (2-9)
Someone has to win this battle of the also-rans.The Whtie Guys have significant advantages at QB(Marc Bulger over Doug Flutie, who may surprise an overconfident Cincy) RB (Shaun Alexander, Stephen Davis over a suprising Warrick Dunn and Kevin Faulk) and WR ( Tai Streets and Issac Bruce over Shannon Sharpe and Todd Heap though this one may be a tie if both tight ends are used by their respective QBs, especailly Heap). The Patriots have a better D but both teams need some players to step up their production (Bulger,Flutie,Davis, Streets, Bruce, the Jets"defense") to get the win.

Bane (3-7-1)vs. No Cal Crushers (3-7-1)
The late Pete Axthem would have called this a "windshield game". If the tickets to the game was left on the dashboard of the car someone would smash the window and leave two more. Bane hs no running game whatsoever and who knows what Leftwich will do week to week? Holcomb should perform well aginst a clueless Steelers D but what will George or Jurevichus give him?

Valleygirls (10-1) vs. Pinman(3-8)
Congratulations on your win last week Pinman. Your sympathy card is in the mail. The Valleygirls are comming and nothing personal but you are in their way. Culpepper will just keep chukiing it up agianst the Lions who can't paly on the road and can't defend anywhere. Him, by himself, should be enough. The best thing going for Pinman is that Culpepper's favorite target, Randy Moss, is on his roster but she has Reggie Wayne and Justin McCareins, who are due for big days on her roster.

Snowballs (3-8) vs.CB234(9-2)
The Snowball's roster is a timebomb waiting to explode on offense. CB234 may have to live without Travis Henry who has a broken leg. Steve McNair is playing the defense-challenged Falcons so the previous two statements may not matter.

Coco's Monkeys (5-6) vs.Philly Cheesesteaks (10-0-1)
This is something that has been cooked up in a mad scientist's lab. The red-hot Monkeys take on the unstoppbable Cheesesteaks. The Monkeys would be helped greatly if Tiki Barber could learn to hold onto the football and Cheesesteaks need the Vikings D to start making plays agian. The Reciever battle may ultimately settle this one.
