ASME article

I don't know if anyone has seen this yet, so I'll post this link. It's an article on the impact of FIRST on companies. It doesn't butcher up FIRST by attempting to explain the game or comparing it to battlebots or anything like that. To me it seems very well written. Who knows, maybe it will encourage more companies to sponsor.

I agree, it was a very well written article. Hopefully it will inform more companies.

The article referred to in the first post of this thread and in your post are totally different articles (with different pictures and all). The one you refer to was written in January, shortly after the kickoff and the other in the last 1-2 weeks (had to have been sometime after the national competition, as pictures from the "grand" eliminations are in it). Either way, they are both good articles on the FIRST program.

Wow, this article is really good. It really shows how companies and engineers benefit from FIRST, not just the students. It would be great to spread this to companies; they may just get involved as a result.
