Quick question about the ramp

Student on team #102, Gearheads, from Somerville H.S and Ortho. Does anyone know what kind of steel the ramp lip is made of(Stainless or carbon). thx |

I suspect that the intent was to allow teams to trip the reed switches in the kit. But... you are welcome to try to get away with it. As to the type of steel then, carbon steel is cheaper than stainless, knowing FIRST, I suspect that they would not use the more expensive material unless they had to. Joe J. |
