Raul & Joe battle for second...

Posted by Joe Johnson at 1/11/2001 10:43 PM EST

Engineer on team #47, Chief Delphi, from Pontiac Central High School and Delphi Automotive Systems.

Who does this Ken Leung kid think he is? ;-)

Ken has a commanding lead in the Forum Stats with over
60 postings!

Raul and Joe are left to duke it our for second place
just above the 1/2 century mark.

Meanwhile, Jessica and Colleen are breathing down our
necks!

Why don't you check out YOUR stats?

How many postings have you made lately?

Joe J.

You are right Joe, Ken must not be very busy.

As it is, I struggle to keep up with all the discussions. I spend about 1 hour each day, little bits at a time (before work, during lunch and late at night) trying to learn what ever I can from these forums and answering some questions or just adding to discussions. You may ask if it is worth that precious hour - it is. There is a lot of valuable info here. Some of it sparks an important thought that you may not have even considered if not for the discussion.

So, thank you all for adding to this valuable resource and keep those messages coming. I just wish my internet connections was faster so I could get through these messages faster.

Oh please. I know this stat thing is going to come back and haunt me. But hey, I never post just to get a high number, and most of my messages actually are trying to answer questions. There is nothing wrong with spending time posting on this site, because what we get back from it are far greater then whatever it take to post another meaningful message. So if you are accusing me of helping other people and being consistent with the spirit of FIRST, then I am quilty as charged.

As for why I have so much time doing this, well, I am lucky enough to have a long enough winter break to grant me full time involvement in the competition...

I mean, come on.. First he's complaining about Colleen, Nate, Robby and myself joking about racking up the number of posts that we have even though most of the time we were actually posting informational stuff.. And then he complains about my team having some fun with the Hamster Hop stuff..
