What's easier? Last year or this year?
Posted by Anton Abaya at 1/23/2001 11:05 PM EST
Coach on team #419, Rambots, from UMass Boston / BC High and NONE AT THE MOMENT! .Just a general question I was wondering... Was last year's game easier to build a robot for? Or is this year easier? Or are there too many factors to this question? Just pick an answer ![]() -anton ps. it seems to me it's easier to build this year because the game sort of asks us to specialize in a single task and be good in that task alone (or add a secondary as well). but most of all, like Ken said somewhere below, we need not build ROBUST robots that need to withstand striking blows from intense competition. So there's a lot more room for innovation, rather than bulky protection. agree? |
