Question about Nationals?
Posted by Brian at 2/3/2001 2:19 PM EST
Student on team #56, Robbe Xtreme, from Bound Brook High School and Ethicon Inc.. My team and I were wondering how many teams out of each division will get to play in the Elimination Rounds, we know that the winner from each Division will advance to face the winner of another Division, but I thought it worked like regionals(the top 8 would be allied together and 4 alliances formed) is that how it works at Nationals or is it something different... Thanx Brian Team 56 |

Student on team #192, Gunn Robotics Team, from Henry M. Gunn Senior High School. In Reply to: Question about Nationals? Posted by Brian on 2/3/2001 2:19 PM EST: My understanding is that the top 4 from each dicision will be allied together and 2 alliances form in each division. And they will compete in a series of quarter finals to determine the division winner. Next, there are two set of semi-finals between the 4 division champion. Then, the two winners of the semi-finals compete in a series of final matches, with the winning alliance become the National Champion. Read T11 |
