Go to Post My point is that there seems to be a trend in FIRST in which people are saying "who cares about the robots, let's inspire the students." What I'm saying is, it's the robots that inspire the students. - Chris Hibner [more]

Duel on the Delaware!!! (Results are in)

At the Duel on the Delaware, the Alliance of teams 87 and 25 (why we dont have a third partner is a long story) came in first place, and the alliance with 365 (MOE, Thanks for the sticks!!), 341, and ... darn it, i forgot who the other alliance member was. Sorry I forgot. you cant blame me, it's 1:00 am. All teams put forth a great effort yesterday. Great Job. See ya in Wissahickon or regionals.

Im flattered.

Thank you for the compliments. Thanks team 25 for the great matches together. Swaping out, who needs swaping out. Heck, in the first match of the finals we lost radio contact with Diablo and still won. 25 had problems in the second match (unfortunately we lost that match 53-0). Yet we came like bats out of you know where to win in the final round of the finals. sorry i forgot about you 651. how stupid of me. i thought we wouldnt have a chance with out a third alliance partner but i was wrong. I would like to give another thanks to teams 316 and 365 for holding a great competition (can we come next year if you hold it again?). See ya in Wissahickon.

Hey, not to make excuses or anything, but MOE was experiancing some techincal difficulties in the finals too. It was probably just the effects of a long day's work with only minimal spare parts. You may have noticed that we spun around quite easily in that last match. Anyway, you guys were awsome, and we ran into a train in the finals after cruising through the earlier rounds. Congrats and we'll see you at ramp riot.

The short version is:

Thank you 365 and 316.

Congratulations 87 and 25.

Talking

I hope that Moe comes to Brunswich Eruption. I dont know why they cant but... There I hope they go againest each other. To Joe that last post i did was my dad Teach that runs FIRST at NTBHS.
And what I would like to say to Joe that even if Moe wasn't working at 100%, team 25 in the first round of the final finals took you and your partners on with no help, because the Firebirds had radio problems, and won.

Diablo also had radio problems in the first match of the finals. thats why we never got out of our home zone. (quietly thanking Dean for making that 10 pt. rule for bots in home zone) anyway, 25 still whupped moe in that round single handedly. that is one fine robot.
