No actually if you read the history of DUCK tape that was the original name given to it by soldiers during one of the world wars. Also the only reason it became duct tape is because after the war people started to use it for duct work.

That's very interesting. I was always kinda confused about the whole name thing. I'm gonna make a duct taped shirt! If you ever spill anything on it you can just wipe it off. It would be like totally stained-proof. It would also be good for the winter. Nice and insulated. That would be awesome! lol
