For many people, myself included, two joystick drive feels more natural than one joystick drive - especially for tank-type drivetrains. Last year's robot allowed us to switch between one and two joystick, so if you needed an extra hand to mess with the other controls, you could have it.
It depends on what you are used to. I drove my grandpa's skidloader long before I ever played Descent or Zappazoids or whatever. |
