Cory, I was really only concerned with the idea of "pnuematic arms" or a functional part of the robot as opposed to bumpers. But yeah, bumpers can extend beyond the 30" by 36" footprint by up to 4" on each side of the robot as long as they're between 2" and 8" off the ground, and made out of a material you can punch with a lot of force without injuring yourself (i.e. no two by fours, no steel, no aluminum).
