I think the key to this year's eliminations is to construct a good alliance, that can win big in BOTH elimination round matches. If you win
both elim matches, you advance, and it doesn't matter what your EP's are.
The most difficult thing about this year, comes from scouting, building alliances, choosing which bots to put in first, and deciding on which strategies/automodes to use.
I predict that most top 4 alliances will consist of at least 2 (top 8)seeded teams. This will help with the construction of stronger alliances. I know that if we seed in the 5-8 range, we will be approaching 1-4 teams and asking to work together. If you are in the low seeding ranges, especially at some of the smaller regionals, it will be extremely hard for you to build a strong alliance.
I think it will be common for the 10th, 11th, and even 12th seeded teams to pick an alliance.
