Ew.. lock-tite.... no good.
It maybe good for small jobs... but don't even attempt to use on something that you want really tight. During the regional, our sprockets were slipping and thus causing chains to come off. We tried to use locktite to stop the sprockets from slipping but no.... that stuff doesn't do much. So, we ended up welding the sprockets onto the axle.... and even THAT wasn't very strong. The helpful people from the workshop told us that it was a surprise that the welds held together.... We got a huge repair job to do once we get down to Florida.... not good. ![]() |
